Mason and Hamlin Model A Grand Piano 21583

This model A Mason & Hamlin was produced at a glorious time in Mason & Hamlin’s rich history. The good news about this piano is that it is was rebuilt by Mason & Hamlin in 1965 with new pin block and strings. The finish is very good and the hammers appear to be quite new.

It is nearly an ideal situation to have a piano rebuilt by the original makers of the piano. Better yet, there is minimal wear since the rebuild and the piano has been taken to a high level.

The satin mahogany finish has a rich tone and is not as dark as many mahogany pianos. The tone is very warm and the piano has the original key tops which are in O.K. condition but not perfect. If you prefer new plastic key tops, we can offer that as well.

Ultimately it is the sound and sound which sets it apart from lesser instruments.
