This is a classic piano made in the Golden Era of American piano building. Better than that, it has been rebuilt. It has a new pinblock, refinished soundboard, new strings and tuning pins, and a rebuilt action (new hammers, shanks, knuckles, whippens). The real, original key tops are a testament to the gentle environment this piano has been in and the care it has enjoyed.

When this piano was manufactured, there were hundreds of American companies producing pianos by hand utilizing fine hardwoods which were available at the time. Finding one that has been restored fairly recently like this one is a blessing since the cost can be prohibitively high. More than that, not all pianos are good candidates for rebuilding. The essential structure must be stellar in order to achieve top notch results.
