The Mason & Hamlin model A is one of the most perfect scale designs of any piano made. At just 5′ 8″, the sound rivals much larger pianos. There are design elements unique to Mason & Hamlin that contribute to this phenomenon including the wide tail that houses a larger soundboard than in comparable size instruments, as well as their patented Tension Resonator System.

This piano has just been rebuilt, restrung with new pinblock, and refinished. The action also has new hammers, shanks and flanges. So, the piano looks and plays like new!
