Mason & Hamlin was never a mass producer of pianos, so finding a great Mason & Hamlin is always a special experience! This truly is a great piano. It has not only a phenomenal action, but a great tone. The finish while not perfect, is very attractive with no major problems. It is a lacquer finish which is hand rubbed just like on new Mason & Hamlin and Steinway pianos.
