This piano has just been rebuilt while maintaining the original soundboard which has excellent crown for rich, powerful, sustained tone. The piano has been refinished inside and out. So, it looks like it did when it was manufactured in the highly regarded pre-Aeolian period when Mason & Hamlin was still an independent company.

The piano has been rebuilt with new pinblock for excellent tuning stability. It has new strings, tuning pins, strings and damper felts. The action was remanufactured with new shanks, flanges and German Renner hammers for warm tone. The plate has been re-guilded and all metal parts have been re-plated. It also has a high quality set of keytops as well as new key bushings for a precise feel.

Our technicians have regulated and voiced this piano to a concert level of performance and it is a delight to play. The action is quick and light and the sound is rich, even and warm throughout all registers.
