One of the great, American baby grand pianos of all time is the Baldwin model M. These hand-crafted baby grands offer a rich sound throughout all registers including an amazingly robust bass for pianos of its size. We have just rebuilt this piano including, reworking the bridges, refinishing the soundboard, re-gilding the plate, re-plating the hardware, refinishing the case, restringing with new Mapes Gold International Series strings and new German tuning pins, installing new damper felts and new agraffes, new key bushings, new front rail bushings and new key tops. All the brass has also been polished.

This piano is suitable for a serious pianist. Many people prefer the baby grand Baldwin model M to the Steinway baby grand model S which is Steinway’s least popular model in no small part because they often lack substance to the sound in the bass unlike the Baldwin M.
