It is rare to find an American made piano built as recently as this since so few pianos have been manufactured in the United States in recent years. This is a California piano, so the environment has been very kind to the instrument. It has recently been regulated, voiced and refined to play on a high level. The finish is in great shape, so it is a very attractive piece of furniture as well.

Kimball was one of the most substantial piano manufactures in the United States after WWII. Eventually if proved impossible to compete with Asian pianos which utilized cheaper materials and manufacturing technologies. That’s why it’s such a pleasure to experience a recent vintage American piano in such good shape!
