Knabe is one of the great American pianos. The soundboard is in great shape and produces an incredibly rich, projecting sound. The wide tail allows for more soundboard area making the sound of this piano closer to a semi-concert grand than a grand piano.

The instrument was recently restored with new strings, pins, hammers, shanks and more. This is a concert level piano with a very refined action and wide range of tones. This could be an appropriate instrument for smaller concert venues or the most advanced players.
