Mason & Hamlin Grand Piano

Here is a classic Mason and Hamlin grand piano made when Mason and Hamlin was making some of their best pianos. The piano has been restrung at some point with new tuning pins and damper felts.
It also has new hammers, and the case has been refinished with the classic sprayed lacquer satin finish, which is hand-rubbed.

It’s great to see a Mason and Hamlin that has been so well maintained. The ivory keys are in incredible condition, which reveals the piano’s gentle history. More importantly, the soundboard is in excellent condition and produces a rich, sustained sound.
