Baldwin Artist Grand Piano

This is one of the last, great, American made Baldwin Artist Series grand pianos. The condition is fabulous! At 6-feet 3-inches, you are rewarded with a big rich sound that is perfect for your home or small performance venue. It also makes a great recording piano because of the clear, rich tone.

Steinway didn’t make a piano of this size for most of the 20th century. They had their model L at 5-feet 10 ½-inches, and their model B a foot longer. Interestingly, one of their most popular used pianos today is their model A3 which was a 6-foot 4-inch piano made only for a short period of time early in the 20th century.

Baldwin not only sourced the finest materials and offered exquisite manufacturing quality for their Artist Series grands, but they also had innovations not found in any other pianos such as the Accu-just hitch pins which offer more sustained tone particularly in the treble by having precise downbearing.
