Baldwin Parlor Grand Piano Model G 40470

This Baldwin Model G is a rebuilt gem of a Baldwin from the peak of the piano industry in America. The model G is a bit longer than the model M which is 5 feet 2 inches. While offering richer sound due to added string length and larger soundboard in comparison to the model M, this piano will still fit in a small footprint.

The piano has recently been refinished with the classic, American sprayed lacquer which is hand rubbed for a rich luster. It was restrung with Mapes International Gold Series strings (same as new Steinway pianos) as well as a new pinblock for excellent tuning stability. The soundboard is in excellent condition and was refinished which helps its stability and longevity. The dampers have been refinished as well and have new felt. The plate was re-guilded, and all the metal hardware has been re-plated. So, the piano looks like it did when it was manufactured!

The action has a new set of top of the line German Renner Premium Blue Point hammers and has been regulated to suit even the most discerning player’s needs. The piano has been voiced to a high level of performance and has a rich, even and warm tone throughout all registers.
