The Grand Hybrid series is a new breed of piano that offers the playing experience of a concert grand piano with a footprint of a small upright console.

KEYBOARD MAGAZINE: This is a digital piano that feels and sounds like an acoustic instrument.

The Hybrid Grand has a hammer action with real wooden keys for a grand piano touch.

The piano features 3 of the most popular piano sounds: Hamburg, Vienna and Berlin. The piano sounds are richly detailed samples which have the addition of physical models of string and damper resonance, damper and pedal sound, and key on/off sound for remarkable realism and expression. It also responds to the pedal continuously for half-pedal expression.

Casio teamed up with the venerable German piano maker Bechstein to create a new type of piano that offers the sound and touch of a concert grand.

All students eventually outgrow even the finest upright pianos because of limitations of speed of repetition of upright actions. Piano students who play recitals and competitions have a tough time adjusting to not just the touch but also the expansive sound of large grand pianos.

The Hybrid Grand prepares students to play grand pianos at concerts and competitions.

There are many other features the Grand Hybrid offers including built in metronome and recorder. It can even create audio files you can save to USB flash drive and share with anyone.

There are also some cutting edge capabilities not found in other instruments such as Concert Play which allows you to rehearse and perform famous pieces along with a symphony orchestra!

The sound system produces the full spectrum of a 9-foot concert grand piano. It has a lid that opens and also features the physical model of the lid in different positions.
Other benefits of this instrument are those found in digital pianos, no tuning is required, and it can be played with headphones. If you are looking for a grand piano that fits in a space of a small upright, the Hybrid Grand is a unique instrument that will satisfy the most discerning player creating a grand piano sound and touch in a compact space at a reasonable price.
