While great Steinway pianos have been produced since the 1800’s, for much of the second half of the 20th century under CBS ownership, quality of their production was less consistent than in other periods of time. Fortunately, this piano was manufactured well after this time. More importantly, it is a fairly recently made piano that has been incredibly well maintained with only minimal wear. It is barely broken in!

This is the first ivory Steinway B we have ever had. Steinway offers this piano with ivory finish new from the factory for $125,000. Finding one in such condition on the used market is incredibly rare. The finish is in fine condition as well. The action is regulated to satisfy the most virtuoso playing with a range of tones from epic fortissimo, to the most delicate tones imaginable.
