The rosewood case has also been refinished. It is a glorious instrument manufactured when Steinway first started producing modern pianos.

The tone is warm and lively, with very good projection. The action has a more formidable feel than some pianos which makes it a great instrument for preparing you for playing larger pianos.

This piano is as much a fine musical instrument as it is a work of art with its intricate, hand-carving. As time goes on, there will be fewer and fewer examples of what the pinnacle of American piano building was at the time this piano was manufactured.
