Steinway Rosewood Stretch A Grand Piano 219752

This is a very rare Steinway for several reasons. First, the Model A3 or Stretch A was manufactured only for a short period of time in the 20th century. With 2 extra inches of length than the standard Steinway Model A, these pianos are sought after for their richer tone and more substantial bass enabled by the extra string length and larger soundboard area. In addition, the gorgeous rosewood is something you almost never see anymore and it is absolutely gorgeous!

The piano was refinished and restored some years ago and the action has many new parts which perform on a very high level. In addition, the piano was just rebuilt with new pinblock, strings, tuning pins, damper felt and new plate felts. It also has a refinished gold plate with hand drawn letters and the metal hardware is all re-plated. It also has re-graphited bridges, refinished – polished soundboard, full regulation, fine voicing and tuning is stable at A440.
