Here is a Golden Era Steinway we just rebuilt with new pinbock, strings, tuning pins, shanks, flanges, knuckles, bushings and Renner hammers. The case has been refinished, the plate has been re-gilded, and all the metal parts have been re-plated.

The model M Steinway is one of their most popular pianos. While only 6 inches longer than the model S, the sound, particularly in the bass is far richer and rewarding than the model S.

At the time this piano was originally manufactured, there were still hundreds of companies making pianos in the United States and the quality of Steinway pianos in particular was extremely high.

When rebuilding pianos, it takes vast experience to know not only what parts are the correct specification for the particular instrument, but also the methodology for achieving a high level of performance.
