The Baldwin Acrosonic is considered by many to be the best spinet piano ever made. Many of the older Acrosonics which were so popular years ago are still going strong. This Acrosonic was made more recently than the familiar, shorter Acrosonics from years earlier.

The taller cabinet allows for longer strings and larger soundboard area for richer tone than other spinet pianos. The soundboard is also crafted from solid spruce, not the laminated type used in cheaper pianos.

The piano is supported with 5 large backposts for structural integrity.
