Bechstein

Bechstein is regarded as one of the world’s finest pianos which is hand-crafted in Germany. While today, Bechstein offers several different lines of pianos, when this piano was manufactured, they only produced top-tier instruments.

This piano has endured the ages extraordinarily well and has the original soundboard, and original, real keytops (not plastic). It was rebuilt in the 1990s with new pinblock, new strings and damper felts, as well as new hammers. The soundboard was reworked and refinished, and the case and plate have also been refinished.

The action has a very comfortable feel and is quick and responsive. More than that, it responds to the most delicate touch with the utmost sensitivity. But it is the tone of this piano that sets it apart from other pianos. There is a richness to the sound, and a focused projection that you only hear in the finest German pianos.
