Gebr. Perzina was established in Germany in 1871 and opened a factory in Yantai, China in 2003. They continue to use the original German scale designs and utilize many European woods and other essential components. Among some of the design elements is their unique floating soundboard which enhances tone especially in the bass register. The soundboard is unattached to the inner rim at certain points which allows it to vibrate more freely. In addition, the arch of the crown is reverse which makes the soundboard hold its structure longer than in other pianos.

The action on this piano has remarkably fast repetition for an upright piano. If you don’t have room for a grand piano but require a piano that can keep up with more advanced playing, this piano is really unusual in that it can handle this task better than other upright pianos.
