There is so much to tell about this classic American piano. First, Knabe pianos are sought after for their high quality of construction and rich tone. This 6-foot 4-inch grand has a big bass and warm, singing treble. The condition of the instrument is phenomenal!

The bass strings are almost new. The damper felt is also new. The case has also been refinished with a hand rubbed, sprayed lacquer finish – the classic American finish. The hammers have been reshaped and have plenty of fresh felt. The keytops are the original, real ones in great shape – something you can’t get anymore.

It is a real pleasure to encounter a piano that has obviously had an incredibly gentle life. From the beautiful soundboard to the clean plate, there are 10 year old pianos I have seen which show more age than this piano – no rust, and very little wear.
