Young Chang was the largest piano builder in the world around the time this piano was manufactured. Although Young Chang is well known for their high quality production pianos, this is a top tier, hand-built instrument with Renner action (like in Hamburg Steinway and Bosendrofer) and AAA grade spruce soundboard. All around this instrument is on the level of the top American and European concert grand pianos. It is in absolutely stunning condition sonically, mechanically and visually.

Young Chang began their ascent into a piano juggernaut producing pianos for Yamaha. Later they made pianos for Steinway. Today Young Chang has factories in both Korea as well as China. The Korean factory (where this piano was made) produces a limited number of hand built pianos imported into the United States under the Albert Weber name. Their concert grand lists for almost $120,000.
