Mason & Hamlin Grand Piano

This is a classic, American made Mason & Hamlin from the revered period when it was still an independent company. It has the original soundboard with excellent crown which produces a rich, warm tone. The piano has new strings, pinblock, tuning pins, damper felts, hammers, shanks, knuckles, backchecks, key bushings, front rail bushings, and the piano has been refinished the classic sprayed lacquer which is hand-rubbed for a lustrous appearance. The plate has been re-bronzed, and all metal parts have been re-plated. So it looks and plays like new.

The action is smooth as silk and responds to the most delicate or thunderous touch. It’s almost impossible to get a harsh sound out of this instrument! From the whispering tones, to thunderous crashes of colorful sound, you will be enveloped in the sound as your hands glide effortlessly over the keys.
