It has the distinction of being one of the only piano companies in the world that has been owned and operated by the original (Blüthner) family from 1853 until today.

Blüthner is made in Germany and has the highly regarded Renner action. The quality of the components of this piano are all on the highest level, from the top grade solid spruce soundboard, to the exquisite woods of the case. This particular piano sat in a home and wasn’t played at all. So, it is in brand new condition inside and out. There is also no signs whatsoever of any environmental impact. So, our technicians have gone through and performed high level regulation, voicing and fine string work bringing this concert instrument to the highest level of performance.

This piano also features the unique, patented aliquot stringing. This is a tone enhancement system found only in Blüthner pianos which adds a 4th string to the treble notes for richer sound and more sustain in the treble. The 4th string is raised just out of reach of the hammers. So, the 4th string isn’t hit by the hammers, but sympathetically vibrates adding color to the sound not heard on any other pianos.

This piano has a wireless PianoDisc system which allows you to have the piano play for you. You can control it from your iPhone or other mobile device! It has been regulated to offer fine performance and comes with a library of music.
