This is a perfect example of one of the greatest 7-foot American pianos ever produced. Baldwin piano manufacturing was arguably the best in the country at the time this piano was built. This instrument is in stellar condition. The action is from the highly esteemed German company Renner. The real, original key tops are in excellent condition – no plastic here! Visually the piano looks beautiful inside and the finish is also in good shape. The soundboard and bridges are in excellent condition.

It is the sound that sets this instrument apart. This piano is in an elite league of instruments of this size. If you have ever played a great Baldwin 7-foot grand piano, you know the thunderous bass and singing treble these instruments can produce. Yet, playing even brand new pianos of the same model, there is always one that is exceptional – this is such a piano.

There is minimal wear on this piano which appears to be all original with the exception of the whippen cushion felts which have been replaced. So, the action is whisper quiet. The strings and plate show minimal signs of any environmental challenges. It plays like a new piano.
