The model A Mason & Hamlin is one of the most sought after American grand pianos because of its rich, full tone which belies its size which easily fits in almost any home. This piano has the following new parts: strings, tuning pins, pinblock, damper felts, whippens (repetitions), backchecks, key bushings, front rail bushings, key felts, flanges, casters, Abel hammers, Renner back action. In addition, the piano has been refinished with multi-layers of sprayed lacquer which is hand-rubbed for the classic satin finish which has depth. The black keys have been refinished, and all the hardware has been replated. The soundboard has also been refinished.
